The Senate stands until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #842 Anthony J. Brindisi, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #601 Sparkle L. Sooknanan, of the District of Columbia, to be District Judge for the District of Columbia. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #779 Catherine Henry, of Pennsylvania, to be District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
As a reminder, at times to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Republican Leader, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the following nominations:
1. Executive Calendar #711 Cynthia Valenzuela Dixon, of California, to be District Judge for the Central District of California
2. Executive Calendar #782 Noel Wise, of California, to be District Judge for the Northern District of California
3. Executive Calendar #790 Gail A. Weilheimer, of Pennsylvania, to be District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
Additional votes are expected during Tuesday’s session.
During Monday’s session, Senator Schumer filed cloture on the following nominations:
1. Executive Calendar #842 Anthony J. Brindisi, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York
2. Executive Calendar #843 Elizabeth C. Coombe, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York
3. Executive Calendar #844 Sarah Morgan Davenport, of New Mexico, to be United States District Judge for the District of New Mexico
4. Executive Calendar #845 Tiffany Rene Johnson, of Georgia, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia
5. Executive Calendar #846 Keli Marie Neary, of Pennsylvania, to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania
