Schedule for Monday, January 6, 2025

The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00 noon on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

At 1:00pm, the Joint Session of Congress will convene in the Hall of the House of Representatives under the provisions of S.Con.Res.2, for the counting of the electoral ballots.

Senators attending the Joint Session will gather in the Senate Chamber at approximately 12:40pm and then proceed as a body to the Hall of the House of Representatives.

Upon dissolution of the Joint Session, the Senate will re-convene and be in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
