Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #5 Scott Bessent, of South Carolina, to be Secretary of the Treasury, post-cloture.

At approximately 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Bessent nomination. Upon disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #6 Sean Duffy, of Wisconsin, to be Secretary of Transportation.
