The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Cal. #13 S.Con.Res.7, Budget resolution.
At approximately 12:00 noon, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #20 Kelly Loeffler, of Georgia, to be Administrator of the Small Business Administration.
Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm for the weekly caucus meetings.
During Tuesday’s session, Senator Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #23 Kashyap Patel, of Nevada, to be Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for a term of ten years. The cloture vote is expected to occur on Thursday. If cloture is invoked, there will be up to 2 hours of debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination.
All time during recess and adjournment will count equally towards Cal. #13, S.Con.Res.7.
