Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Cal. #13 S.Con.Res.7, Budget resolution.
At approximately 11:00am the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #23 Kashyap Patel, of Nevada, to be Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for a term of ten years. If cloture is invoked, senators should expect a vote on confirmation at approximately 1:45pm.
Following the disposition of the Patel nomination the Senate will resume consideration of Cal. #13 S.Con.Res.7. Tomorrow late afternoon the Senate is expected to begin a long series of roll call votes (a vote-a-rama).
