The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to the consideration of Cal. #14, S.J.Res.12, Methane Emissions CRA. At 12:00pm all time will be considered expired and, if the Senate has received H.J.Res.35, the House companion joint resolution, the Senate will vote on passage of the House joint resolution, as provided under the Congressional Review Act.
Upon disposition of the joint resolution the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #24 Linda McMahon, of Connecticut, to be Secretary of Education. The Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the McMahon nomination at 1:45pm.
