At 9:00pm, the President of the United States will deliver an Address before a Joint Session of Congress. Senators will gather in the Senate Chamber at 8:20pm and will proceed to the House Chamber at 8:25pm.
Upon dissolution of the joint session, the Senate will stand adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.J.Res.28, disapproving the rule submitted by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection relating to "Defining Larger Participants of a Market for General-Use Digital Consumer Payment Applications" (Ricketts).
At approximately 11:00am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #27 Todd Blanche, of Florida, to be Deputy Attorney General.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 3:45pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on passage of S.J.Res.28.
