Schedule for Monday, March 10, 2025

The Senate stands adjourned until 3:00pm on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #29 Lori Chavez-DeRemer, of Oregon, to be Secretary of Labor.  At approximately 5:30pm the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Chavez-DeRemer nomination.

Following disposition of the nomination the Senate will vote on adoption of the motion to proceed to Calendar #18, S.331, HALT Fentanyl Act (voice vote possible).

During Thursday’s session Senator Thune filed cloture on the following nominations.  The clotures are expected to ripen during Tuesday’s session.

• Executive Calendar #26, Steven Bradbury, of Virginia, to be Deputy Secretary of Transportation
• Executive Calendar #28, Abigail Slater, of the District of Columbia, to be an Assistant Attorney General

Monday March 10^th at approx. 5:30pm – 2 roll call votes possible:
