The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Cal. #34, S.J.Res.18, disapproving the rule submitted by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection relating to "Overdraft Lending: Very Large Financial Institutions" (Scott SC). At approximately 11:20am the Senate will vote on passage of the joint resolution.
Upon disposition of S.J.Res.18 the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #43, Paul Lawrence, to be Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
If cloture is invoked on the Lawrence nomination, the Senate will vote on confirmation at approximately 2:00pm.
