Republicans Love to Talk About Inflation but Refuse to Stand Up to Big Corporations that are Price Gouging Americans While Making Record Profits

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Committee Chairwoman Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Committee Vice Chairman Cory Booker (D-NJ) today released a report outlining the actions by Senate Democrats to lower costs for Americans. “There is no question our country continues to face global supply chain challenges and increased costs due to COVID-19. Since Day 1, Senate Democrats have partnered with President Biden to tackle these challenges head-on and take action to lower costs for American families,” the report says. “While Senate Democrats have been putting people first, every Republican Senator voted NO on the American Rescue Plan and has opposed other actions to lower costs for families.”
