Schumer Statement on Bipartisan Opposition of Betsy DeVos

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer today released the following statement regarding the bipartisan opposition of Betsy DeVos:

“On all three areas - conflicts of interest, education policy and competency - there is no worse nominee than Betsy DeVos for secretary of education. I'm glad more of our Republican colleagues are realizing she's the wrong person to lead the department of education.”
