Schumer Statement on the White House’s Latest Clarifications of President Trump’s Anti-Refugee Executive Order

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer today released the following statement regarding the White House’s latest clarifications of President Trump’s anti-Refugee executive order.

“No carve-out, exemption, or clarification can undo the extreme harm this executive order has already caused to thousands of innocent people or mitigate the damage it will do to our national security and America’s reputation around the globe. This executive order must be repealed.”
