Leader Schumer Statement On Court Decisions To Limit The Trump Administration’s Cruel And Lawless Agenda

Washington, D.C. – Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) today released the following statement after federal judges agreed to restrict DOGE’s access to the Treasury Department and to pause the federal employee buyout offer.

“It’s going to take a multi-pronged approach to fight Trump’s lawless agenda, and today’s court decisions were important steps in the right direction. The law and the Constitution are on our side, and we have to continue to press the fight in court, in Congress, and in the public square.”
