Majority Leader Schumer Announces New Ranking Member Assignments For Senate Democrats

Washington, D.C. – Today, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) announced the following new Ranking Member committee assignments for Senate Democrats:

Ranking Member Committee Assignments:

  • Senator Klobuchar (D-MN) – Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, & Forestry Committee
  • Senator Murray (D-WA) – Senate Appropriations Committee
  • Senator Reed (D-RI) – Senate Armed Services Committee
  • Senator Warren (D-MA) – Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, & Urban Affairs
  • Senator Cantwell (D-WA) – Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation
  • Senator Heinrich (D-NM) – Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources  
  • Senator Whitehouse (D-RI) – Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works
  • Senator Wyden (D-OR) – Senate Finance Committee
  • Senator Shaheen (D-NH) – Senate Committee on Foreign Relations
