Majority Leader Schumer Statement On Confirming Critical And Diverse Biden Nominee José Javier Rodríguez For Assistant Secretary Of Labor

Washington, D.C. –  Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) today released the following statement after the Senate confirmed José Javier Rodríguez as Assistant Secretary of the Department of Labor:

“This week, the Senate confirmed José Javier Rodríguez, a former union attorney, Florida state senator, and a dedicated public servant, as Assistant Secretary of Labor, where he will oversee the unemployment insurance system and programs that support workers.
