Schumer Announces Senate Democratic Leadership Team For The 117th Congress
Washington, D.C. – Senate Democratic Leader-elect Chuck Schumer (D-NY) today announced the Senate Democratic Leadership for the 117th Congress following Senate Democratic leadership elections.
“I am humbled to be chosen by my colleagues to continue leading Senate Democrats as we work with the Biden-Harris administration to address the unprecedented challenges facing our country and deliver much-needed help to working families,” said Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). “The American people have been clear that they want action, and our caucus will provide the leadership necessary to provide relief to the American people as we continue to grapple with the COVID-19 health and economic crises, the climate crisis, worsening income inequality and racial injustice, and more.
