Schumer Says North Carolina Attorney General Is The Right Person To Investigate

Brooklyn, NY – Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer today released the following statement calling for an independent investigation into allegations that Postmaster General DeJoy broke campaign finance laws with straw donor scheme:

“These are very serious allegations that must be investigated immediately, independent of Donald Trump’s Justice Department. The North Carolina Attorney General, an elected official who is independent of Donald Trump, is the right person to start this investigation.”
