Schumer Statement On GAO Opinion That President Trump Broke The Law By Withholding Aid To Ukraine

Washington, D.C.— Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer released the following statement in response to the GAO opinion that President Trump broke the law by withholding aid to Ukraine:

“The GAO opinion makes clear that the documents we requested in our letter last month are even more needed now because GAO confirmed the president broke the law.

“All Senators will get a chance to vote to obtain these documents next week.”
