Schumer Statement on Joint Committee on Taxation Report

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer today released the following statement regarding the new report from the Joint Committee on Taxation:

“The numbers don’t lie: this is just more evidence that the GOP tax bill was in fact designed to tip the scales in favor of the wealthiest Americans at the expense of middle-class families. The American people recognized Republicans gave them a raw deal from day one and it’s one of the clearest reasons why their law remains so unpopular.”
