Schumer Statement On Partisan Meeting With DOJ Officials

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer today released the following statement regarding the recent announcement that Democrats will be excluded from the meeting, arranged by the White House, between DOJ officials and Republican members of Congress:

“The only thing more outrageous than this meeting occurring at all is the fact that it’s now partisan. It is crystal clear that Chairman Nunes’ intent is to interfere with the investigation, and Speaker Ryan is allowing it to happen.”
