Schumer Statement On Reports Trump Admin. Will Restrict Access To Funding For Women’s Health

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer today released the following statement regarding reports that the Trump administration plans to restrict access to funding for women’s health:

“With this decision, President Trump is standing right between millions of American women and their doctors. Restricting which doctors and health care providers can get these vital funds will prevent far too many women from getting the medical care that they deserve, all so that Republicans can continue their war against Planned Parenthood and women’s reproductive rights.”
