Schumer Statement on the Disaster Relief Package

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer today released the following statement regarding the disaster relief package:

“The disaster relief package is an important step forward on the road to recovery for the areas hit hard by recent storms and wildfires, but it cannot be the final step.

“It’s absolutely critical that Congress take up and pass another supplemental to help Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Texas, Florida, and all areas affected by the recent storms and wildfires fully rebuild.”
