“I just spoke to Kay Hagan’s husband Chip and I told him that from the moment I first met Kay Hagan, I knew that she was special—and she remained that way every day since. She was an amazing force: never loud, but always strong; effective; hardworking; dedicated; principled, and just a kind-hearted person. Boy will we miss her.”
